Dr. Russell Ross is the inventor of the Sofusa™ technology platform and co-founder of the Sofusa™ platform business unit within the Sorrento Therapeutics Corporation. Dr. Ross's expertise is in the area of Transport Phenomena for both biologic and chemical systems. For the past eight years, his primary activities have focused on the development of novel nanotopography biomaterials for therapeutic and cellular transport applications. Dr. Ross received his doctorate at the University of Wisconsin and he has been awarded more than 29 patents and has published 9 peer-reviewed papers.
